It's Genesis Devlog Friday, and this week we're talking about dwarves. Last time we watched them work hard at the Western Wall, but it turns out they didn't just pack picks and shovels. They also brought along their latest explosive invention that they're more than happy to point it at their enemies: the Dwarven Culverin. Let’s dive deep into this tower today!
If you've been following the saga for a while, you know dwarves and gunpowder go together like nothing else. From the Dwarven Bombard in the very first Kingdom Rush all the way to Big Bertha, when it comes to raw firepower, nobody in the realm packs a punch quite like the dwarves.
Perhaps you think you know everything there’s to know about dwarven artillery, but the Culverin is a bit of a different beast. Where most artillery trades firepower for reach, this one does the opposite. Its range is shorter than you might expect, but get an enemy within that range and it will make them very, very sorry.
